If you know the song "Where is the love" by The Black Eyed Peas then I would like to know if it made an impact on you. I was listening to it, reading the lyrics and wondering if people have completely lost all sense of love for each other. To help bring my point across here is the chorus:

People killing people dying
Children hurtin you hear them crying
Can you practice what you preach
Would you turn the other cheek?
Father Father Father help us
Send some guidance from above
Cause people got me got me questioning
Where is the love?

I know that a specific someone will say something about the grammar but this song has me wondering "Where the love at"? What happened to "love your neighbour as you love yourself"? Yes, there are organizations that care for people in foreign countries but what about the average person? I once heard a very smart man that said "The average person thinks he/she is better than the average person". - Dr. David Jeremiah

If we think we're so much better than the average person then why don't we treat the average person as we treat ourselves? Treat them with decency and respect.

My mom and I baked 165 cookies the other day and we've almost finished them all too!! It was exhausting but the cookies were so good! When we first started making the biscuits we most definitely didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. We don't have an electric beater so we had to do all the mixing with a weird little tool that looks like a squashed spoon! Once we finished mixing everything together we had to wrap the dough around a mini Rollo (yes that took a really long time!!) . Surprisingly we only had two trays full of raw dough-covered-Rollos but they're so small that we could fit 80 biscuits in one tray, although we squished a little more than that into the second tray. I really enjoy baking but it does get tiring except if you have good music too listen too :) . I hope you didn't find this post too boring(: .

Dreams

Have you ever had dreams that were so real that you still remember them days later? When you wake up it feels like you were in the real world and then fell asleep instead of the other way around. I like dreams that are like that so that I can think about them until I dream again. Sometimes I still feel my heart skip a beat when I think about something that happened in it. What I don't understand is why we can't dream about stuff (or people) we want to dream about. I don't know if this is true for you or if it's just me but I can't make myself dream about things/people, it just randomly happens.

I know this was a really wierd post but I thought it could be cool. Let me know what you think!!

I found this poem in a movie and I thought that you might like it (I did!!).

Brown Penny

by William Butler Yeats

"I whispered, 'I am too young,'
And then, 'I am old enough';
Wherefore I threw a penny
To find out if I might love.
'Go and love, go and love, young man,
If the lady be young and fair.'
Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny,
I am looped in the loops of her hair.

O love is the crooked thing,
There is nobody wise enough
To find out all that is in it,
For he would be thinking of love
Till the stars had run away
And the shadows eaten the moon.
Ah, penny, brown penny, brown penny,
One cannot begin it too soon."
