People say growing up is what you are supposed to do, but what about staying young forever? Who wants to grow up when you can be a kid? No responsibilities, no demands, no worrying about the future, nothing but playing and wondering when you next meal will be ( and if mom is going to give you something truly awful, like tuna). Couldn't we just be left alone to be young and naughty and wacky? Years ago kids my age (almost 14) would climb trees and play make-belief games. Could you imagine what it would be like to actually still be considered a kid at age 14 in our days? It doesn't seem possible.

Adults say you have to grow up sometime, I know this but do we have to become the President fresh out of Junior High? I don't want to be a kid for the rest of my life, but I don't want to be all grown up at ( almost) 14. How boring would that be? You're going to wear high heels for the rest of your life! You don't have to wear them now. It's the same thing with make-up, short dresses/skirts and boys. Be a kid and enjoy the freedom while you have it.

This is Tiggamooi ! She is really cute but don't be fooled by the way she looks! She may look like an angel but she has really sharp claws and needle like teeth. And she is really naughty!! Tell me what you think of her.

Movie Help 2

I am adding to my list of movies to watch or not to watch.

1. While You Were Sleeping - Funny but does have some suggestive language.

2. Win A Date With Tad Hamilton - Also very funny but again it contains suggestive language.

3. The Devil Wears Prada - Seen it soooooo many times but I abolutly LOVE it!

4. The Tourist - Hilarious!! - It does use the "F" word so if you are sensitve to language then maybe watch it with someone who has already seen it so that they can mute the sound at those points.

5. Mao's Last Dancer - Really good movie! Its not funny but the dancing is really good.

Quick question, has anyone seen The Chaos Theory, According to Greta, Raising Arizona, or Lost In Translation?

Even heroes fall down

And mountains won't last forever

But Your promise never fails

When the ocean is raging

I find stillness in Your presence

And I lift my voice to say

'Jesus take me away!

[CHORUS]

Carry me on your back

Through the storm, Lord!

Carry me on your back

Through the storm, Lord! '

When the furnace is burning

I know rescue is coming

Your promise never fails

In the darkness Your light shines

Breaking over the horizon

And I lift my eyes to see

Heaven's fighting for me

[CHORUS]

'Carry me on your back

Through the storm, Lord!

Carry me on your back

Through the storm, Lord! '

Waking up in the arms of love

I'll be singing, singing a new song

Waking up in the arms of love

I'll be singing, singing a new song

Carry me on your back

Through the storm, Lord!

Carry me on your back

Through the storm, Lord!

This is one of my newest favorite songs by Leeland called Carry Me On Your Back.
It makes me think of the eagle's wings covering her young. I like to be reminded of things because i do forget and doubt. This reminds me God is here, carrying me. Sorry for complaining about life recently, I am going to remove that post as soon as I have posted this one.

Love you guys lots!

Life became a little bit better. We got a kitten!! My dad brought her home from work because he was scared she was going to be run over. She is a tortoise shell and she has this cute little patch of white on her tummy that makes it look like she's wearing a nappy. We are thinking of naming her Tiggamooi ( she jumps like Tigger and she is pretty so Mooi which means beautiful in Afrikaans). We are becoming moe used to everything now so it's not THAT bad anymore. I still can't stand the internet or the ants that descend on everything outside the fridge. My parents and I are planning to play tennis tomorrow and maybe make Melk Tert ( this is one of my family's favorite desserts). Miss you all alot!!
